But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love that He had for us, made us alive with the Messiah even though we were dead in trespasses. You are saved by grace!

Ephesians 2:4-5

Death is separation from God. We were separated from God by our sins. When Jesus was raised from the dead He brought us to life as well. Until you know Jesus you are dead. When you come to know Him you are alive even as He is alive.

Since you are alive, don’t act like someone who is dead. If you are alive in Christ Jesus everything is possible.
