Adam Disobeyed but Jesus Obeyed

Everyone was going to be punished because Adam sinned. But because of the good thing that Christ has done, God accepts us and gives us the gift of life.  Adam disobeyed God and caused many others to be sinners. But Jesus obeyed him and will make many people acceptable to God.  The Law came, so that the full power of sin could be seen. Yet where sin was powerful, God's gift of undeserved grace was even more powerful.  Sin ruled by means of death. But God's gift of grace now rules, and God has accepted us because of Jesus Christ our Lord. This means that we will have eternal life.

Romans 5:18-21 - CEV

Adam disobeyed God and caused many people to become sinners!  Jesus obeyed God and made it possible for many to become righteous in the Eyes of God!

That first sin by Adam awakened within every descendent of father Adam the desire to sin and eat the forbidden fruit!  At some point early in life everyone yields to temptation and is changed into the image of fallen Adam.

When a man or woman turns to Jesus Christ and begins a walk of Faith in the steps of Jesus, the war is on between flesh and Spirit!  In that war, sometimes the battle will be furious, but the Spirit will win and in fact has already won because of the Blood of Jesus!

The nature of man was changed when Adam sinned.  Before that sin, Adam did not know good and evil.  But the sacrifice of Jesus changes the basic nature of man back to what Adam had before the "Fall" for those who accept Him and walk according to His will.

Men and women who try to become worthy of Eternal Life with Jesus by "self discipline," "self-help," "keeping the rules," or any way other than depending on the Blood of Jesus Christ will fail!

Jesus Christ paid the price for you to enter Heaven and live with Him forever.  When you come to Jesus, He will give you rest forever!

"Thank You Jesus for making it possible for me to live with You always!  May I spend all the time I have left here on earth praising You and walking according to Your Holy Will!  May You, Jesus be praised now and forever.  Amen."
