Shout of the Angel!

Click here to listen to blog

My friends, we want you to understand how it will be for those followers who have already died. Then you won't grieve over them and be like people who don't have any hope. We believe Jesus died and was raised to life. We also believe that when God brings Jesus back again, he will bring with him all who had faith in Jesus before they died.  Our Lord Jesus told us that when he comes, we won't go up to meet him ahead of his followers who have already died.

With a loud command and with the shout of the chief angel and a blast of God's trumpet, the Lord will return from heaven. Then those who had faith in Christ before they died will be raised to life.  Next, all of us who are still alive will be taken up into the clouds together with them to meet the Lord in the sky. From that time on we will all be with the Lord forever.  Encourage each other with these words.

I Thessalonians 4:13-18

Jesus wants us to encourage each other as we wait for Him to return. Things on this earth will may go from bad to worse, but when Jesus returns everything will be alright forever!

Remember that Satan may take away your family, your wealth, and even your health, but he cannot take away your hope in Jesus!

Ultimately you may die for your faith in Jesus, but dying for Jesus will do you no harm at all! Do not fear dying for Jesus rather fear giving up your faith in Jesus in order to save your life here on this earth! If you do that you will lose both.

Hold on to Jesus like a man lost at sea holds on the raft on which he floats. Hold on to Jesus like your life depends on it, because it does. Will Jesus come soon? Yes He will! One day, without warning there will be a shout from the chief angel and a trumpet blast. Then you will see Jesus! Could that happen today? Yes it could.

"Lord, if I die and go to be with You I know that I will come back with You on that day. And if I am still alive when You return I know that I will meet You in the sky! And Lord, I know that it could be today! Come quickly, Lord Jesus. Amen."
