I saw thrones, and sitting on those thrones were the ones who had been
given the right to judge. I also saw the souls of the people who had
their heads cut off because they had told about Jesus and preached God's
message. They were the same ones who had not worshiped the beast or the
idol, and they had refused to let its mark be put on their foreheads or
hands. They will come to life and rule with Christ for 1,000 years. These people are the first to be raised to life, and they are especially blessed and holy. The second death has no power over them. They will be priests for God and Christ and will rule with them for 1,000 years.No other dead people were raised to life until 1,000 years later.

You can get your head cut off for
lots of different reasons, but did you know that if your head is cut
off because you are one who proclaims God's message there is a special
blessing for you?
Just a few years ago we all thought that the world has moved past the idea of decapitation as a means of punishment. It was so "barbaric" and surely we have all moved far beyond the practice of cutting off someone's head. Well, the practice is back and it is spreading!
What I need to remember is this: If I lose my head because I am a follower of Jesus Christ there is a special blessing for me! I should also keep in mind that Satan not only wants to cut off my head from my body, but he also wants to cut off Jesus from His body. The Devil wants to separate you from your Head, which is Jesus! A body can stay alive without a hand or a foot, but not without it's head. The Body of Christ, the Church cannot live without being connected to the Head, Jesus!
"Lord Jesus, I can live forever, even with my head cut off of my body, but I cannot live even for one second if I am cut off from You. You are my Head and without You I have nothing at all. Thank You Lord, that no one can ever separate You from Your Body. And may You be praised forever. Amen."
