We have not stopped praying for you since the first day we heard about you. In fact, we always pray that God will show you everything he wants you to do and that you may have all the wisdom and understanding that his Spirit gives. Then you will live a life that honors the Lord, and you will always please him by doing good deeds. You will come to know God even better.
Colossians 1: 9 - 10
When you do what God wants you to do, He is happy about that. When you refuse the Will of God in your life, God is sad.
Doing God’s Will and living a life that honors Him gives you the opportunity to know God even better!
There is an old saying that you should not judge a man until you “walk a mile in his shoes.”
When you live a life that pleases God and you do His Will you are walking in the shoes of Jesus! When you do that you will get to know God better and better!
Make it your goal that today that you will walk in the steps of Jesus! That way will lead you to the Cross and, of course the Peace and Joy of an Eternity with the Lord!
“Lord Jesus, I do want to be obedient to everything You want me to do. I do want to walk in Your Shoes today. Praise Your Holy Name now and forever. Amen.”
