How to Win the War!

Listen to this blog.

There is no wisdom, no insight, no plan
that can succeed against the LORD.

The horse is made ready for the day of battle,
but victory rests with the LORD.

Proverbs 21:30-31

Wars are not won by weapons alone.  Wars are won by wisdom and weapons.  When two armies go up against each other, the outcome cannot be predicted by the number of troops and their armament.  The strategy and wisdom of the generals plays the decisive role in the outcome of any battle.  Gideon defeated a huge army with 300 men and the wisdom of God.  The Egyptians were defeated by unarmed refugees fleeing their country.  And of course, don’t forget David the shepherd boy going up against Goliath with only five stones and a sling.

If you are a follower of Jesus Christ, you can be assured there will be a battle today.  That battle may be a small skirmish, or it may be really large.  Being armed and equipped for battle is a good thing, but going to battle with the Wisdom of God is the best thing.

When you see the enemy approaching fall on your knees and ask for God’s Wisdom before you fire the first shot.  If you win today’s battle it will be because the Wisdom of God went up against the wisdom of Satan and of this world.

Remember, David killed Goliath with the first stone!
