The Always Presence of Jesus

Jesus' eleven disciples went to a mountain in Galilee, where Jesus had told them to meet him.  They saw him and worshiped him, but some of them doubted.  Jesus came to them and said: I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth! Go to the people of all nations and make them my disciples. Baptize them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and teach them to do everything I have told you. I will be with you always, even until the end of the world.

Matthew 28:16-20

These verses are sometimes referred to as the “Great Commission.”  They are the marching orders for those who yield their lives to His authority.

I believe also that the secret to continual, persistent and intimate prayer concludes this passage of Scripture.  If you are about the business of obeying this final command, Jesus has promised to be with you “always, even until the end of the world.”

If someone, anyone is with you always, you will talk to that person.  It is a necessary part of being human.

If you want to “pray without ceasing” then live your life in obedience to the Words of Scripture so that you can know for certain that Jesus is with you.  Then you will pray all the time!

The more you run after being obedient to Jesus the more clearly you will see Him in your daily life and the easier it will be to talk to Him about everything.  Instead of trying to pray more, obey more and the “always” presence of Jesus will make prayer a continual necessity in your life!

“Lord Jesus, help me to be about the Father’s business and be obedient to your every command.  Thank You Jesus for Your ALWAYS PRESENCE in my life!  Praise You Name forever.  Amen.”
