When you read the Book of Daniel it is very apparent that God knows all of history. He knows history past, history present and history yet to come. When it comes to God there are no secrets. He can look in every dark place and shine His light, even in the dark places of the future. I may know a little about yesterday and some about today but without Devine Revelation I know nothing about tomorrow.
God knows what tomorrow will bring. My job is not to shape the future by the force of my life, but to be used by God to shape the future according to His will and design. If all the righteous men and women who have ever lived came back to life at the same time and decided to change the future that God has predicted and allowed, they could not do it. But if one man or woman is committed to God's will in his or her life and willing to sacrifice even that life for Jesus the future will reverberate with the impact of just one life on this world.
So if, as a follower of Jesus Christ you are trying to manipulate the future of this world by whatever means, stop it! Instead apply your heart, mind and strength to the task of being obedient to God's direction for today. One word spoken at the right time and right place can be used by God to move mountains. Your job is not to move the mountains, but to speak the Word!
The final sign of the End of All Things is this: "Everything will be over, when the suffering of God's holy people comes to an end." And you can believe, it will happen!
